We invented a furniture shop where customers become creators. Hands and tools shape the visual identity, while ethical consumption supports the user experience.
Created with Marta Ramacciotti for the MA in Graphic Design @ Elisava Barcelona.
Fnalised during the Covid-19 lockdown in June 2020.
aquì is a hands-on furniture workshop where customers become creators, challenging traditional ideas of consumption through craftsmanship, participation, and local community. This project represents approach to design as a holistic process, where strategy, visual language, and systems thinking work together to support meaningful, community-driven brands.
This multidisciplinary master project was conceived as a full, end-to-end brand experience. From the beginning, I worked at a strategic level, contributing to the business plan, brand positioning, naming, and tone of voice before moving into the visual identity and its applications.
The core idea behind the identity is interaction: hands and tools become the main visual actors, transforming layouts into living scenes that echo real-world making. Rather than functioning as static compositions, the graphic elements are designed to respond to their environment — interacting with typography, physical spaces, and people.
To demonstrate the flexibility and scalability of the system, the project was articulated into five key applications: an audiovisual piece, responsive digital platforms, packaging design, an editorial object, and spatial graphics. Each application reinforces the same visual logic while adapting to different contexts and user experiences.
The project was nominated to LAUS awards 2021:
